Here are the details on my project!

I started out with  printing my digital image at a
larger size, colored him with Copics, then fussy cut out.

Once I had him (or her as the case may be) cut,
I applied Nuvo Lg Glue pen on the 'white' parts of the body,
then the wings, then the face.

Then using Sparkle N Soft Twinkling Clouds,
I covered the entire body,
thinking it might look like fluffy feathers!
(I added a bit to the ball of his Santa hat, too)

I used the Nuvo Lg Glue Pen once again on the feet
then covered with Energized Orange Glitter.

I die cut a pine tree using Memory Box Magnificent Pine.
Nuvo Crystal Drops Gloss Red Berry was added to the tree

To finish, I printed the sentiment
which is part of the digital set,
then used a Cheery Lynn Designs Fishtail Banner to die cut it.
Using Tear-ific Tape 1/4" around the entire piece,
I added Fire Engine Red glitter.

Now hop on along and comment on each designers blog
to win the entire set of the November release!
Next on the hop should be our very talented

Christmas Gift Bag Tie On's

Another new fun release this month from
This set comes in either a stamp set or the digital
version which is what I have used.

One thing about purchasing the digital set is that you
can print them about any size you want.
I printed mine in a large size as I knew I wanted to make
gift bag tie on's verses tags.
Once the image was printed and colored with Copics,
I used a Spellbinders Round Circle die to cut out the shape.

Using my 'finger tool' as we like to call it,
giving it a very shimmery look.
I used the Nuvo Sm Glue Pen on
the star, then applying Lemonade glitter,
on the tree applying Pine Grove Tinsel glitter,
A green Mon Ami pull Ribbon, tied in a bow was added to
the image and to the top for a 'tie on'.
A Spellbinders Scalloped Circle die was used underneath to finish.

The second tie on was made almost the same way
with a few differences referenced below.

After printing and coloring the image with Copics,
I used Nuvo Sm Glue Pen, applying it to the snowflakes,
then sprinkled with Ballerina Velvet glitter,
to the ornament, then sprinkled with Waterfall glitter.

Using the Nuvo Glue Pen Lg around the outer edge of the circle,

To finish I added Nuvo Crystal Glitter Drops Sherbert Shimmer
to the snowflake centers and
Nuvo Crystal Glitter Drops Moondust for the image bow.
A Spellbinders Scalloped Circle die was used underneath
the image and a Mon Ami Silver Ribbon Bow was added
and used for the tie on at the top.

Red Roses

I have to say I love this die I used on this card!
It is one of the new November dies that
Tutti Designs released called

I have made 3 cards for the Tutti store with this die,
but I have another one in mind for next week
(I can't seem to stop using this die...lol).

I found that a 1 3/4" punch fits perfectly under each Rose,
making it super simple to use!

I used an old splatter stamp underneath for the green you see
and added a few sequins along with a sentiment.

So easy to mail, too!!

Elephant Christmas

I have the cutest Christmas card to share!
I love elephant stamps and this one is no exception using
one of the October newly released stamps from

I know you have seen me do this before so a quick
'refresher' tutorial!
I used Memory Box Frosted Christmas Tree die
to first cut my trees and leaving them in the die,
coated them with Dreamweavers embossing paste.
(I did one at a time, cleaning my die each time in-between.)

Carefully lift out of the die and it should look like this.

Quickly totally sprinkle/cover the entire tree with
Sparkle N Soft Twinkling Clouds.

Pour the excess off and put back into the jar.
Let dry (it dries very quickly)

I made a step card
(tutorials can be found on you tube, if needed)
To the back or inside of the step card
I die cut a Cheery Lynn Designs Merry Christmas
which had been coated first with Nuvo Glue Pen Large,
the sprinkled with Fire Engine Red glitter.

I stamped, then colored the image with Copics.
I used the Nuvo Small Glue Pen on the stocking tops, the elephants hat
and elephant toe nails.
I once again used the SNS Twinkling Clouds on the
white fluffy areas and Fire Engine Red glitter on the toe nails.
I then ran strips of 1/4" Tear-ific Tape around the edge of my image
and added Fire Engine Red Glitter.
Glue was added to the tree's star and Aztec Gold glitter was sprinkled on.

Once the image was dry, Nuvo Crystal Crystal Red Berry was
added to the tree ornaments.
If you haven't tried any of the drops, you should as they act
just like pearls, and you can make them any size you want with a little practice.

Friendship

Raining, dreary, and a million leaves have fallen outside.
But I am warm and cozy inside doing what I love best,
creating with some of my newly released dies from Tutti Designs.

This is one of the 39 cards I made for the October release.
I love this release, so many pretty pretty dies, 13 in all.

This card uses the Flower Symphony Corner die #188
(I will add the link a bit later, do to a mix-up at the store)..lol!

I just cut the die and simply paper pieced the flower....a pretty card and simple to mail!

An update on my grandson is that after 12 days in ICU,
he was sent to a rehab facility
that my daughter was not happy with,
as they had never treated someone so young
and it just felt more like a nursing home then anything else,
I think the youngest person there was in their 40's,
not a great place for a teenager to be to keep his spirits up

He is being moved by ambulance today today from Indianapolis
(that's in Indiana for all that aren't familiar)
to Grand Rapids Michigan to a place called
Mary Free Bed
which we have heard nothing but good things about.
It is a 4 1/2 hour ride for him, so please keep him in your prayers
for a safe and pain free travel.
He has a long road ahead of him, they feel where is at 6 months is where
he will be, with a 2 year recovery.
He has gained some feeling back in his legs, but still is unable
to sit up by himself or walk and a few other things.
We are hoping this facility will help him regain that and more!

Come back tomorrow to see my project
for the Sparkle N Sprinkle October release!

Pumpkins or The Color Orange Challenge

The challenge at
is being hosted by our 'sistah' Dar
and she has chosen the theme
'Pumpkins and/or the color Orange'!

I loved this theme as it allowed me to finally
and I mean finally dig in my Halloween stash of stamps.
I have LOTS of Halloween stamps
and probably 99% of them have never seen ink!

I used a Stampendous stamp for this project.
After stamping, I sponged lots of
TH Distress wild honey ink all around the image,
heavy in some spots, lighter in others.

I colored the image with Copics
and a while back (a month or so) I saw a challenge to
color 'outside' the lines so thought I would try that with the
viney leaves...I kind of like how it adds a pop of color.

I really struggled to figure out how to finish this card
without covering up the image, as it is quite large.
I added a little spider web corner die from
Cheery Lynn Designs Lace Corner Die Deco H
and a silly little spider to match the grins on the pumpkins
and decided that was all it needed!  Pretty simple!

Take a peek over at The Sisterhood and see all the fun
creations the 'sistahs' have to inspire YOU to join in the challenge with us!

Shades of Autumn

The challenge at
Fussy and Fancy
is being hosted by our very talented and creative Jo
and she has chosen the theme
'Shades of Autumn'.

Out sponsor is Wild Orchard Crafts.

I love Autumn
(well most of the time, once the leaves fall it's kind of 'ugh' then,
not near as much fun raking them as seeing them in all their glorious colors)!!

But I also love to create for the Fall months,
So many pretty colors to work with!

This card came together very quickly
by using a few of my favorite die cuts (listed below)
and flowers I bought on clearance this Spring.
Thought it was about time to use a few
put together in layers along with a few 'neglected' brads!

I added a strip of burlap form my stash on a newly
purchased EB folder called 'Heather's Lace'
of course I managed to cover most of it up
with my flowers and leaves.
A little birdie (can you see him?)
was added that I had snipped off another die
and saved for further use, guess this was it...lol!

So head on over to the Fussy and Fancy blog
and see all the beautiful and creative projects
my teammates have created!

Think Pink At The Cutting Cafe

Tomorrow  (10/21) at
it is all about 'Breast Cancer Awareness'
and a time where all TCC design team gets together
on the blog with our creations.

This one really hits home to me,
as my Mom (89) was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer
this year in Feb.

I used the Ribbon Shape cut file
and this time I used the PDF file it comes with
other then my Cricut (my Cricut was being naughty)
plus it shows you just how easy it is to use a PDF.

I decorated my ribbon with a rub on
as Regina shows in her video
(yes, she has videos on putting this together..so fun)!!
I don't think I have even looked at my rub ons in over 5 years..lol!

Then I used the 'Think Pink' printable stamp set.,
added  green gems for the owl eyes and a real snippet of ribbon.

A few little flowers from my stash were added
and the sentiment is from the printable set as well.

I would give my Mom this card,
but honestly I don't think she would know what
'hooters' are..lol!

Pop on over to The Cutting Cafe blog and see all the
rest of the design team creations....
it will be live later in the day on the 21st!
