Now onto my card for this months "REVEAL"!

When I saw the new sets released for June I was super excited
that two of them were ROSES!!
I have a HUGE fondness for Roses!

I stamped my Roses with Versamark on lightweight Vellum.
(I like to use the lightweight as it shows the colors better.)
Then I sprinkled my White Detail Embossing Powder on
and heat set.
I did one extra Rose for a future use!

I flipped the Roses over and colored with my Copics
on the BACK side.
I know I have shown you this technique many times
and it is a favorite of mine for sure!

I fussy cut the Roses out, then adhered with very tiny pieces
of Tear-ific 1/4" tape here and there along the edges onto a
piece of white card stock, then fussy cut them once again.
I love the soft, pastel look of them.

These were set aside and I cut a circle with my circle cutter,
then coated it heavily with Brushable Glue.
and sprinkled Bubblegum glitter on
(don't you just love the name of the glitter)!!

I used my 'finger' tool to rub the glitter on.
I cut a Cheery Lynn Lords and Commons Doily die
and added on top
once the glitter was dry.

The Roses were then offset on top of that.

For the sentiment, I stamped once again with Versmark on white card stock,
then used Silver Fine Detail embossing powder and heat set.
To me, this embossing powder is like 'magic'!
It literally comes alive once it is heat set!!

The background is an embossing folder from W R Memory Keepers
called 'quilted'!

Thanks for visiting with me today, I am the end of the hop,
but if you need to go to the start go to Chris's blog.

Don;t forget to leave a comment on each of the
blogs for a chance to win the ENTIRE release!

Going Fishin'

Today I have a super cute card to share with you I did for
using one of the newly released May sets 'Gone Fishin'!

I loved the sentiment so thought it would be fun to put
my fisherman in a fishbowl ..LOL!

I cut 2 fish bowls from my Cricut Explore
one from white card stock and one from a lightweight vellum.
(You could also use Memory Box Fishbowl HERE ).

I stamped the fisherman with Versmark on the white card stock
using Black Detail embossing powder, then heat set.
The vellum bowl was placed over the top using small pieces
on the outer edge of Tear-ific Tape to adhere it.

I cut a square of white card stock, added  Super Adhesive Sheets,
cut with a 'wave' effect to the bottom.
Enlightened glitter was adhered to that for the water.

I sponged a bit of Distress Mermaid Lagoon ink on for the sky.
I cut clouds with a Memory Box Cloud die,
added Brushable glue to both,
then Sparkle N Soft Twinkling Clouds flocking.

I die cut a Spellbinders cattail, then added my sentiment on top of those,
The sentiment was stamped with Versamark,
then sprinkled with Cerulean embossing powder.

I love how this card turned out and think it would give a fisherman
a big smile to receive it!!

and added a few flower buttons to the flower centers.

A bow I had rejected from a previous card was laying
on my work table and it seemed to be the perfect colors for this card!

Let's Get In Shape At The Sisterhood

I am the hostess and I have chosen the theme
"Let's Get In Shape" .

I made an adorable teapot card using the cutest cut file
I cut it on my Cricut Explore...easy peasy!

I used  SU Certainly Celery card stock for my base
and then a snippet of patterned paper for the design
of the base of the teapot and lid.

I finished it off with a snippet of ribbon/bow,
flowers from my stash and a tiny little butterfly
that just happened to be 'fluttering' around my work table!

The sentiment 'You're My Cup Of Tea' is part of the

Now head on over to 'The Sisterhood' and see what

Floral Cake

The girls at The Cutting Cafe are all 'making cakes'...
YUM!!
I bet that has your attention..lol!!

But really, we are making cakes, but the paper kind....
a lot less calories that way!

Regina has created the cutest cut file '3 Tier Cake'.
It comes with cut files for a small, medium, and large cake.
You can choose to do all 3, or just one cake as I did.
I used the large size for my cake.
I had intended to do the 3 tier, but I didn't have 3 12 x 12 papers
that were alike. (Note to self..buy more alike papers)!!

It also has bottoms of the cake to set your cake on.
I used a pretty scallop edge, then a Cheery Lynn Designs
French Doily die to set my cake on...love it!!

I decorated the edge of the cake with a ruffled ribbon and
Roses on top.
There are candles and numbers you can add to the top if you wish.
I didn't as I am not certain who will get my cake,
I can always add either candles or numbers later,

So pop on over to The Cutting Cafe blog and look at all those
yummy cakes..guaranteed not to add pounds!!

Patriotic ~ Support Our Troops Challenge at Double D

Time for a new challenge at Double D
and 'Team Darlene' is on board with the theme
'Patriotic/Support Our Troops'
and using the inspiration tile below.

I decided to join in with the challenge myself
and had so much fun using a few things from my ever growing 'stash'!

I purchased the stamp I have used several years ago.
It is a Deep Red stamp called 'My Country'.
I think this is the first time it has 'seen ink"
which just goes to show I have too much!!
I stamped it with Versamark then used a
fine black embossing powder.

I made a few Rosettes with a Tim Holtz die
and I love the dimension they add to the card.

I used Impression Obsession 6 in 1 Frame die (using 3 of them)
around my image....this is a must have die, I just love it
and can't believe I waited so long to purchase it!
The 'star' paper is Bo Bunny
and the stripe papers are from a Tim Holtz Christmas pack.

The star is a Marianne Designs die....
I love the pretty edge it has on it!

A few 'candi's were added to finish.

So why don't 'YOU" head on over to the Double D challenge blog
and see all the beautiful work by the DT...join in with us
for your chance to win a fabulous prize!!PS:

Wouldn't it be fun to be in Paris in the Spring?
I bet it is gorgeous!

My little The Cutting Cafe Ruby J sweetie is from
I think she is just waiting to go into a cafe, what do you think?

I stamped her, then colored her with my copics.
Her dress was stamped and fussy cut out.
I added a bit of 'girlie' lace to the bottom and gave her some
silver 'sparkle' shoes.

A wee butterfly was added to her headband...
she is so cute!!
The background paper is from
Authentique Latest & Greatest.

I do believe another of these little girlies will
be showing up here next week!

Nasturtium 1 Flower Card

This is my post on the
Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog today.

Hi there, Diane with you today with my card featuring the new
stamp set Nasturtium 1 and a somewhat clean and simple card.
A gorgeous set with a beautiful flower
and five different sentiments!
ca sns 515a
I started my card by stamping the image with
and coloring in with my Copics.
I fussy cut the image out then added
Cherry Lemonade Glitter to the centers.
I just love how the added sparkle makes them 'shine'!
ca sns 515b
I added a strip of 1/4" Tear-ific tape to the edge of
my card, then sprinkled with the Cherry Lemonade glitter
along the edge.
ca sns 515d
A mason jar die cut was used, cutting it from a heavy weight vellum.
I colored the jar with a light blue Copic to make it look like water.
giving even more sparkle to the card.
I used the same glitter for the banner on the jar.
ca sns 515c
A few fun drops of Nuvo crystal drops Dandelion Yellow were added to the bottom
and butterflies to finish!
I hope you have enjoyed my CAS card today and will try one of your own!

Spring Birthday Wreath

Well, my friends here it is 'mid May' already
and that means time for a new challenge at

The theme is "Birthday"
and it couldn't get any easier then that!

I made a somewhat CAS card using a couple of gorgeous dies:

I cut the Spring wreath die 3 times,
twice from white card stock and once from
a beautiful lavender design paper.

I offset the layers to make a fuller wreath.
The flowers were cut from the same IO Spring Wreath set
also from white card stock, then colored with
TH Dusty Concord Distress ink, with a pearl for the centers.

The darling little birdie is from the Meadowbird branch die set.
the perfect size for the wreath!

The strips of design paper are from
'snippets' of scrap paper that were laying on my desk.
They are actually the exact same width, but
it is an 'illusion' they look different sizes..lol.

The double bow was also sitting on my work table,
a 'reject' from another project,
but it seemed s if it were made for this card.

the Happy Birthday stamp is from SU Well Scripted .

Now mosey on over to the Dies R Us challenge blog
and see the beautiful inspiration from the rest of the design team

Girlie Girlie!!

The next two weeks at Chocolate, Coffee & Cards our challenge is
"Just Us Gals".
Our sponsor is All Dressed Up and I am using the sweet little image

I printed her out then colored her with my Copics and a silver glitter pen.
I just love the way she 'sparkles'!
I then fussy cut her out and placed her on a doily.

The background paper is just a small snippet I had left,
which I love as it has glitter added to it...more sparkle!!

I added a few Roses and die cut my leaves, then covering them with
Versamark and a thick embossing paste.

A butterfly was added which was a gift from another blog teamie and friend Terri.
Isn't that a glamorous butterfly?

The cute sentiment was stamped and I felt it was so perfect
for my
little ballerina!

Now you need to 'pop' on over to the Chocolate, Coffee & Cards blog
to see what the rest of the design team has created....
you just might see a few more 'ballerinas' dancing about!
