Hi All...well if you read through all of the above
you will know tonight/today is the release of the new
stamp sets for February at
I have a card to share with you that I
had so much fun making with  the new
Neon Glitters and stamp set
Disco Fever.

I applied a Tear-ific  Adhesive Sheet to
white card stock, peeled off the top layer
then added  Electrified Yellow and
Energized Orange Neon Glitters
to each flower.

I then positioned the flowers
where I wanted them on an
orange card stock that I had also adhered

Cloud Nine Velvet Glitter was then
sprinkled over the entire piece
and burnished using my 'finger' tool.
Isn't it pretty how it allows a slight tint of
color to show through?

I stamped the Disco Fever granny with
and then colored her in with Copics.

I added Sparkle N Soft Swanky Gray for her hair
Sugar Plum Glitter was added to her scarf
and Energized Orange Glitter was added to her boots.

I stamped the sentiment with Versamark
then added Black Detail Embossing Powder.

A few buttons were added to the flowers
for a bit of whimsy!
Now make sure and follow the  hop above
and leave a comment
for your chance to win ALL of the new
February release.

Where's The Canary??

I was up at the crack of dawn this morning
and after grabbing a 'cuppa' coffee
I decided to have some creative fun!

I have mentioned before about a cute and fun challenge
called Dragonfly Journeys and am going to try my best
to enter each week...yikes it ends today!

I won last weeks challenge and received the most adorable
package of  'jungle'  goodies to work with!
Thank you Jeannie!!

This weeks challenge is 'Soft Kitty~Warm Kitty'.
I have a lot, and I mean a lot of kitty stamps and 'stuff'!
I actually have a stamp drawer devoted
just to 'nuthin' but dog and cat stamps!

But I grabbed this cute cat stamp (a real oldie from All Night Media)
that looks like he just ate the canary
(thus the name of my title).

I touched him here and there with a Copic
and the rest of the card was put together
totally from the scrap bin!

Here's a peek at the inside

So I hope you will check out this challenge and
have some fun by entering it yourself!

Hello Cupcake

This is my post on the
Dies R Us Inspiration blog today!

Hi There!
Have you seen all the heart and Valentine dies
at the Dies R Us store?
Oh  my goodness it is loaded with them.
Just type the word 'HEART' in the search box and you will be amazed!
Be prepared to want them all, as they are all so pretty and unique!

What I love about hearts, is that they can be used year round.
Weddings, birthdays, show your love to someone, even Christmas cheer!

I made 2 cards for today, just slightly different.
I started with a red card stock for the base,
then added white card stock that I had used 2 different
embossing folders on called Quilted by We R Memory Keepers.

I cut pink hearts using a Spellbinders Heart die,
Next I cut 2 sizes of the Memory Box Open Studio Stitched Square.
One from red and one from pink metallic papers.

I popped both of those up, then added the cutest cupcake using
PoppyStamps Stitched Cupcake dies.
These are the cutest things, they come with 2 sizes,
I used the largest.
Another nice thing about these dies is that there are 2 choices for the
cupcake tops and they cut separate...love that!

I topped each cupcake with a glittered heart
which I cut from Impression Obsession Heart Stems.

I finished with pretty bows with ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Thank you for visiting with me today
and don't forget to visit our sister blog Dies R Us Challenges
for your chance to win a gift certificate for dies of your own!!

Love L.E.T.T.E.R.S.

It's time for another challenge this month at

I am the hostess this time around and I chose
"Love L.E.T.T.E.R.S."
as the theme.
All you need to do is add the word LOVE and/or a heart.
Pretty simple..right??

This card came together pretty quickly.
The lace design you see is actually a paper from
Marianne Design called French Roses....so pretty!
I used a Spellbinders die to cut it out with.

Using G45 paper, I also used Spellbinders Hearts
to cut my heart shapes, I placed a pair of wings underneath.

Flowers from my stash,
a few glittery vines
and the word 'Love" were added along with a few pearls to finish!

So why don't 'you' head on over to the The Sisterhood
and see what my 'sistahs" have to inspire you!!

Hello

This is my post at the Classy Cards 'n Such blog today
for our current challenge and using the
inspiration photo below!

Hello Classy Friends!
This week our challenge is to use a neutral palette.
We have a beautiful inspiration photo to get you started!

I decided to go with totally cream colors.
Using the inspiration photo for guidance,

I embossed a cream panel with
Darice Quilt Blocks embossing folder.
This has to be one of my most favorite folders to date!

Next I cut a heart from Spellbinders Lace Hearts.
To achieve the heart shown,
I used two hearts from the set, one inside the other,
then cut...pretty isn't it?

Next I cut Impression Obsession Bird On a Branch
from Authentique 6 x 6 paper pad Faith.
This pad has a beautiful collection of neutral papers.

I finished by adding a sentiment held by a tiny clothespin
and added a few gold Dew Drops.

Thank you for visiting with me today!

Best Wishes

Good Morning!!

I have a very glittery Sparkle N Sprinkle
card to share with you today!
Do you like to use glitter?
I don't like it, I LOVE it!
It adds so much sparkle to a  project!
I do make a mess with it,
usually the cats are glittered for a few days..lol
and I do stupid things, like dump it in my lap.
I do have a little secret though,
I use hair spray after the glitter dries and it keeps it in place...
love that!

So, onto the card.
I made a square 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" card white card stock base.
I added a chevron designer print to the top,
Next, I die cut a lattice and coated just the outer edges with
Parisian Mist Glitter was sprinkled on that.

While my glue was drying (which dries very fast)
I stamped Poppies Stamp Set 771P6 onto white card stock
I then used a Spellbinders die to cut the image out.

I colored the Poppies using Copic Markers.
I didn't stop there though,
but brushed a bit more of the Brushable Glue on the poppies,
then sprinkled with Cherry Lemonade glitter.

I used one of the many sentiments from the set,
stamped with Versamark
and embossed with White embossing powder.

A pretty bow was added using ribbon from RRR.

Thanks for visiting with me today!

Love At First Bite

I have a 'free' day today and
I  was able to 'just have fun' with a simple card I
did for the challenge at Dragonfly Journeys
which is "It's A Jungle Out There".

I normally have my card made
and then find challenges to enter it in to.
I think that is the 'norm" for most of us most of the time.
But it is so fun to pick a challenge first,
then make something precisely for 'that' challenge.
After all, isn't 'that' what a 'challenge' is??

I looked all through my stash trying to figure out what
I wanted to use. I found elephant stamps, giraffe stamps,
monkey paper and goodness knows my Cricut had 100's
of things I could of used, but I decided on this silly, silly 'Gator'!

I colored him in with my Copics
(note to self...buy a few 'bright' green Copics)
with the green Copics I have for now.
I used a glitter pen for all his teeth,
nostrils and nails.

I used some very old designer papers
and a few metal flowers I have also had forever it seems.

He's simple, he's colorful, he's fun!!
You should try this challenge out,
she has the most fun gift packets she sends out
if you are selected the winner....
and she has fun challenge themes as well!

Much Love

This is my post on the
Dies R Us Inspiration blog today

We are well into January and it will be time
for Valentines before you know it.
Do you 'love' Valentines Day (pun intended..lol)
as much as I do?
I love all the hearts, red, pinks and of course the 'chocolate'!!

I started with a white card stock base,
then added a red Cor'dinations panel on top.
On top of that is an embossed brick panel.

I used one of my favorite dies today
PoppyStamps Small Madison Window.
This die is currently unavailable at the store
but you cold use PoppyStamps Small Madison Window set
which is basically the same, just with a 2 window pane
instead of the four like I have used.
Plus with this set, you get all kinds of cute add ins to use
at a bargain price!

I added a tiny bit of  'wallpaper' and lace 'curtain'
behind the window panes
and hung a Memory Box Precious Heart from the window.

Next to the window is a cute Impression Obsession Birdhouse.
this is a die set of three birdhouses..so cute!
I cut a second heart to pop up over the opening.

For the birds
I used Impression Obsession Bird Bath.
I finished with a stamped sentiment.

Lots of fun detail with lots of fun dies on this card...
I hope I have inspired you to create one of your own 'window scenes'!

Don't forget to pop on over to our Dies R Us challenge blog
and see what the Design Team has to show you there as well!

Have fun creating!!

Warmest Wishes

Hello All!
This is an exciting day for us at the Double D Challenges
as it is our second challenge,
this time with my friend Darlene and her team of designers
to showcase their beautiful creative style!
We at the Double D also invite the other design team to join
in with us if they wish, and that is what I have done today!

The challenge is using the inspiration tile below
and the theme is Brrrrr!

I just had to join in with a new stamp and die
(both Lawn Fawn)
I received from the hubby for Christmas.
In case you are wondering why the hubby is so 'talented"
at picking out these wonderful Xmas gifts for me...
well, I do a 'wish list' at Joanns.com every year
and he chooses from that...it makes a fun Xmas for me for sure!
I just love it when things quiet down on Christmas Day
and I can open up my new crafting goodies and have a bit of
relaxing fun!

So, onto my card.
I did a snowfall embossing background,
made a sloping hill with a stitched die cut,
which I added a few sequins to
then
colored the tiny bits of the bunny and sled with Copics.
You can't see it, but I used a glitter pen to outline
the entire bunny and sled runners.

Lastly I stamped the sentiment!
I just love this little sledding bunny!

Now, I encourage you to head on over to the
and look at all the fun and amazing inspiration the
Team Darlene has to inspire you...
and join in with us...we have a 'fabulous" prize being offered!

Thinking of You

This is my post at the
Classy Cards 'n Such blog today.

Hello, Diane with you today.
This week on the blog the challenge is Buttons.
What fun!

I think buttons are so interesting with so many colors,
shapes, and sizes to choose from!

I made a rather large card, 6 x 6.
I first started by embossing a Mason Jar
onto Heartfelt Creation Clear Card Stock.

Next I cut a piece of plain white card stock to fit the
embossed  mason jar.
I laid it on top so I could get the placement of my buttons.
Then I removed it and adhered each button down.

Here are some beautiful buttons for you to make
your own jar and both are on sale!
Boutique Bubblegum
and
Boutique Cupcake.

I then ran adhesive down each side
to attach the jar to the background.
To cover up the adhesive, I cut two
Impression Obsession Border Duo 1 edges
and adhered over the edges.

To finish I simply adhered the entire piece to a
designer paper, added lace trim and bow to the top,
and a sentiment.

Thank you for visiting with me today.
