Hi, as you have read above, it is time for the JUNE Reveal at
June is my last month guest designing with this fabulous
group of very talented designers...
but you might will see me again in the coming months.

For today I chose the beautiful Ballet stamp set to work with.
I have several "little dancers" in my life right now...
in fact May 30th you will find me at "Dance Recital"!!

I adhered my circles die cut to card stock that was
covered with Sticky Back paper, then used my finger to rub in

I stamped the image, colored with Copics,
then used Brushable Glue to apply Bubble Gum glitter.
Once dry, I fussy cut it out and adhered to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the same "Ballet" stamp set,
using Versamark and Black Detail embossing powder,
then fussy cut it out and adhered.

I added a bit of tulle and a Rose to finish.

Don't forget, you should have come from " Eret's" blog.
I am last on the hop, but if you are lost along the way,
you should have started at "Anne's" blog!

Leave a comment along the way at each stop, as a random comment
will be drawn from one of the blogs
(I don't even know whose blog will be chosen)!!
You could be the lucky winner of a fabulous prize!!

Pink Blossoms

This is my card on the
Classy Cards 'n Such blog today!
You can use my code DIANE-10 anytime to
save 10% on your order!!

Hi, Diane here with you today!
I have a very summery card to show you!

I made my flowers first, using the newly released
PoppyStamps Velvet Blossom.
I had a bit of surprise when I cut this die,
as each petal cut separately, then you put the flower together
petal by petal.
I loved that, it made each flower much more real!

Once the petals were cut and embossed,
I colored them with Susan's Gardens Pan Panstels Flower Coloring Kit.
using the Magenta color on pink card stock.

The center of the flowers and the stems also cut separately.

I cut a Spellbinders Floral Oval from white card stock.
I stenciled it using Memory Box Texture Tessatina stencil,
giving a nice, soft background look.

The butterflies were cut from heavyweight vellum twice,
one for the bottom and one for the top.
The bottom piece I did not emboss.
Aren't they pretty?
I think they make such a statement!

The background paper is from Wild Rose Studio
and I created a bow to finish.

A few things I pretty much use daily in the making of my cards
are Scor-tape, Large and Mini Cuttlehug adapter plates,
Cheery Lynn Designs Crafters Tools.

Thank you for visiting with me!

Happy Colors

This is my post at the Dies R Us inspiration blog today.
Make sure and scroll down to see
a few more pictures of my Spring garden flowers!
Flowers make me so happy, do they you?
I love buying new ones, as when I drive I can see
them waving at me from the back seat...
I know they are "happy" to be coming home with me..LOL!!

Hello and Happy Thursday to you!!
My card today is called "Happy Colors".
I named it that as the colors just make me "HAPPY"!

I cut a Cheery Lynn Designs Pinwheel Doily from white card stock.
It comes with an "angel wing"...
but I didn't use it this time.
If you are not sure what an angel wing is,
it's a "solid" cut of the doily to place underneath.

I stenciled Memory Box Florina stencil with Persimmon chalk ink.
Then I placed a circle die on using
Memory Box Open Studio Stitched Circle Layers.

The flower was made with Sue Wilson Finishing Touches Open Petals.
The paper is Ken Oliver Watercolored Memories Paper.

I finished with a few flying butterflies and a stamped sentiment!

Make sure and visit the blog Monday thru Friday to see all the
inspiration the DT offers..it is fabulous!

A few flowers I took on Memorial Day.

My newest Iris I purchased last year called
Avalon Sunset.
I was so excited to see it in bloom this year!

A bit of front garden.
This used to be a shade garden
until a storm took the tree down!
I had to dig up a massive amount of shade plants and move them!

One of my many, many poppies.

Inspiration Photo Challenge at The Sisterhood

Hi there!

Today brings us to a new challenge at

The Sisterhood of Crafters and "yours truly"

is the hostess this time around!!

I chose the inspiration photo below to get your creative juices going!!

What do you see in the photo that inspires you?
Maybe it's the colors, the flowers, the fence...
or maybe all of it!!
I "kind of" went with all of the above!

I used a lavender die and once cut,
applied glue to the stems
and grabbed from my stash Lavender flower soft.....
remember that stuff...I wish I had it in every color
as it is so perfect for so many projects!

I also used a teeny tiny rolled flower die and rolled "me up" some Roses!
The butterflies are from a very neglected Sizziz SU die.
Remember that embosslit die?
It's Beautiful Wings...
I love this die, it cuts and embosses 5 various butterflies!

So now head on over to "The Sisterhood" and see what my "sistahs"
have to inspire you!!

Before you go, I wanted to share a pretty flower (Alluim)
from my garden...I just love these...
the perfect round shape is so intriguing!

Thanks for visiting!!

Best Wishes

This is my card on the
for the Red~White~Blue challenge
using the inspiration photo below.
Don't forget, you can use my code
DIANE-10 anytime for a 10% discount.

Hi Diane with you today.
I have a rather large but fun Americana card to show you.
I used a Sue Wilson embossing folder for the background.
I cut two PoppyStamps Small Madison Windows
I hand cut the star curtains from Bo Bunny Anthem collection papers.

I decorated the windows just in time for Memorial Day
with a wreath cut with Memory Box Starry Wreath.
I cut it three times using Pearlized Esse White Metallic for the base
and So Silk Fair Blue and Stardream Jupiter for the randomly places stars.
I just cut them apart, very easy.
If you haven't tried any of these card stocks yet,
give them a try, they are a wonderful heavier weight and beautiful!

The Best Wishes is a Spellbinders die.
A tip for adhering your words.
Cut a piece of Scor-tape double sided adhesive to fit your word
and place on the back of the paper you are using.
Place your die on the paper side(not the adhesive side) and cut.
To make this even easier,
I use daily either the Cuttlehug Large shim or
To help get the paper with adhesive out of your die,
another daily tool I can't live without are
the Crafters Tools by Cheery Lynn.
These really come in handy with the more intricate and smaller dies
like the word dies.

I finished my card with a pretty bow.

Lilac Blossoms

This is my card at the
Remember, you can use my code
DIANE-10 anytime to
save 10% off your order.

Hi, Diane with you today.
It is lilac time here in Michigan and I have to admit
they are one of my favorites in the Spring.
Notice I said one of, I have a love for most flowers.

I used the new Ken Oliver Watercolored Memories paper
for my background .
This paper is two sided, with a light watercolor,
as I have used on one side and
a darker watercolor on the other.
It is so gorgeous!

I stamped Just Right Lilac Blossoms with Versamark
on Heavyweight Vellum, then sprinkled with
I heat set it, then I
flipped the paper over and colored with my Copics.
The darker, bolder colors work best for this.
Just make sure to color on the reverse side of the stamped image.

I fussy cut it out, which I might add was very easy to do.
Mounted it on Spellbinders Floral Ovals,
which was cut from Pearlized Esse White Metallic paper.
Both the  image and the oval were popped up with

The sentiment is part of the Lilac Blossoms stamp set.
It was stamped with Seedless Preserves Distress Ink.

Spring Floral

Hello, today I have a very glittery card I made as a
guest designer this month for

I stamped the image using  the beautiful stamp set
I colored it with Copics, then added
Waterfall Glitter to the petals with Brushable Glue.

I made the background by adhering white card stock
to Sticky Back Paper,
then cutting with a lattice die.

I then covered the open places with Parisian Mist glitter,
by rubbing it in with my finger.

A butterfly was die cut and brushed
then coated with two different glitters
I used a Versamark pen on the center of the butterfly,
then coated it with Black Detail embossing powder,
and heat set it.

All of my pieces were then adhered with
I finished off with a teal bow!

Bearded Iris

This is my card on the
Dies R Us blog today!

Hi All!
Diane here with you on this Thursday before the Memorial Day holiday
with a card using one of the new flower dies in the
Dies R Us store!

I started with a background paper that I softened the color
by machine stitching vellum on top.

The Iris  die is by Frantic Stamper and called Mix and Match Irises.
If you are not familiar with these, they are flower dies
that you can mix and match with Frantic Stamper Stems.
There are several other flowers to choose from, too.

You purchase the stems and the flower heads separately.
I think these dies would be pretty cut in white card stock,
then colored and shaded in with your pens and/or watercolors.

I also used a butterfly by Wild Rose Studio called Little Butterfly!
I love the detail and the size!
When in the Dies R Us store, enter in the word "butterfly"
and you will be amazed at how many different ones there are
to select from in various styles and sizes!!

Don't forget to come back tomorrow to see Alicia's inspiration project!
There is also an anniversary party going on at the
Dies R Us challenge blog with 5 prizes given out to five lucky entrants.
All you have to do is enter the challenge with an anniversary card!

Have a safe and fabulous holiday!!

Summer Fun

Hello Friends!
I have a fun summer card to share today!

On Mother's Day my great grandson and great granddaugher came to visit me.
They are so cute!  Paislie is 3 1/2 and Jenson is 2!
When I saw this cute, cute Crafty Secrets image in the
they reminded so much of my sweet little ones,
I totally changed gears of what I was doing
and put together  a cute summer card!

I had a bit of leftover paper from another project using Crafty Secrets
and the colors fit my card perfectly.
Have you seen these two kits?
OMGoodness, they are chock full of vintage/retro goodness!
The papers are gorgeous, let alone all the ephemera!

I added a striped bow with a striped vintage button....
I love how the stripes of the ribbon match the stripes in the little ones towel!
Gee, how many times did I say striped/stripes
in the paragraph above...LOL!!

I found in my stash a tiny, but real starfish, a shell and a bit of sea glass.....
which were the perfect embellishments!

I added a "sandpaper" beach for a bit of texture and

fussy cut the bottom of the image so they would look like they were walking on the sand!

A bit of Twilight Stickles was added to the water.

Did you know Crafty Secrets is going completely digital?
Yep, they are and they have a fabulous sale going on to close out
all the non-digital products...
check it out, they are practically giving it away!!

Make sure to visit the Crafty Secrets blog today,
you will be totally inspired by all
the DT is showcasing !

Wildflowers

This is my card for our this weeks
challenge at Classy Cards 'n Such
which is "Hummingbirds"
and using the inspiration photo below.
Don't forget, you can use my code DIANE-10 anytime
top save 10% on your Classy Cards 'n Such order.

Hi, Diane here today with a card for our challenge
for this weeks theme, which is  Hummingbirds.

I had my Memory Box Garden Leafy Branches stencil
sitting out from a previous project so decided to use it once again.
I sponged on Certainly Celery ink with a Mini Ink Blending Tool.

I cut Memory Box Tall Chloe Stem from white card stock.
I colored the stems with a Dim Green Copic.
The flowers, I added Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive to each little circle,
then applied white flocking.

I cut Memory Box Forest Hummingbirds from water color paper,
then used TH Distress water color markers to color.

A little tip is to maybe cut all your die cuts before placing on your base.
I had all my flowers adhered, then cut my hummingbirds only to realize
they would be facing the wrong way, the way the flowers had been placed.
I had to remove them all, and rearrange.
Let me just say it would have been MUCH easier to not to have done that!!
